They have these parts/articles at least once a year and it both angers and sickens me.
I generally try to get out of going to meat-ings, but there are some I just refuse to attend and the evening these beg-fests happen I do not go.

the article recommends preparing a will so as to potentially distribute "some or all...to jehovah's organization" and gives this concluding advice to trustees of said will:.
"a trustee or executor should be aware that whether the estate is large or small, liberties should not be taken with the assets.

The same is true with devout pious witlesses, you can show/lead them to truth but you can't make them listen or believe; so if they are stupid, prideful and stubborn, well.....

A COBE basically just makes sure the elders keep their shit together.
He's like a floor manager at a department store; in the scheme of things he's just an insignificant speck but because he is technically management he can bark orders and yell at everyone below him without being fired.
From their attitude you wouldn't know it but a COBE is the bottom rung of WTBT$ middle management.

jesus had come to inspect all those who called themselves christians.
some of the anointed did not pass this inspection.. but as many of us know, none of the anointed would have passed an inspection of the 48 teachings that are mentioned in chapter 3 of captives of a concept.. for example: according to the proclaimers book, none of the anointed woke up to jesus invisible presence beginning in 1914 until 1943 - 24 years after jesus inspection was over.

Did anyone else get somewhat offended by the term "rank and file" that the WT attorney used.
by life is to short ini was just surprised by that term being used by jim mccabe when he said "jonathan kendrick was not a leader or a pastor, he was just a rank-and-file member.".
i thought that was only an apostate term and also what a put down to us lowly members.
we are just a rank-and-file person.

JW Study - OUT!!
by uk_ex_jw ina few months ago, i posted about a study who was getting baptised this summer at the upcoming dc.. we discussed a few things on fb.
i showed him evidence that the watchtower does not have the truth.
the last i heard was that he had gone to the elder's with the information i had given him.. i haven't heard from him since.. however, yesterday he contacted a jw, elder's son on fb.
